I have known Yumiko for many years. She is kind and considerate with a calm and soothing presence . Yumiko is an excellent therapist. Having recently had cardiac surgery I've very much benefitted from the relaxing and stress-reducing 'gentle reflexology' treatment administered by Yumiko as part of my wider post-op recovery programme. My elderly mother (92) who has arthritis and associated water retention (edema) of the lower legs has also found Yumiko's treatments to be highly beneficial in both reducing swelling and the discomfort associated with fluid retention.

Nothing Better! In just one session my face had definition. All puffiness gone & heaviness lifted. But this is so much more than a facial. Smoothing of lines & softness of skin, Yumiko is a master of her technique & tuned into my mood finding where I held tension & with her magic hands & the lightness of soothing aromatherapy oils she improved my outward appearance & inner system. My treatments with Yumiko have been fantastic. I noticed a difference in water retention and definition in my face after the first treatment, but the remarkable thing was the general improvement in skin texture AND 6 weeks later, the water retention never came back. She is a very intuitive practitioner with a tool kit of numerous treatments she can access depending on what you need. It’s not just a step but step massage, but a truly special treatment tailored to your needs. Highly recommended.

This massage was probably the best massage I've ever had. Exactly what I needed and so so relaxing, whilst also making me feel like it was working to address the areas I mentioned to Yumiko at the start of the session. Yumiko was amazing. So thorough and professional but had a lovely relaxed and gentle approach and made me feel really comfortable. Will absolutely be coming back to see her again soon. PS the salon in general is beautiful! I didn't want to leave and loving the merch! :)

I have been seeing Yumiko now for over a year and I just love my time with her!My face becomes plumped, lines less visible and overall I am definitely more symmetrical.The sessions really help to destress and remove tensions. Seeing her at UR also feels like a treat as it is a fabulous space!
