Reflexology - Traditional

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that uses pressure on reflex areas in the feet and hands, which are arranged like a map of the body. It promotes relaxation, can relieve pain and muscular tension, and is said to support the body’s natural healing by improving energy flow.

Yumiko is an excellent therapist. Having recently had cardiac surgery I've very much benefitted from the relaxing and stress-reducing 'gentle reflexology' treatment administered by Yumiko as part of my wider post-op recovery programme. My elderly mother (92) who has arthritis and associated water retention (edema) of the lower legs has also found Yumiko's treatments to be highly beneficial in both reducing swelling and the discomfort associated with fluid retention.
